A Little Bit About Me
Assalaamu' alaikum Ok.... so this is well out of my comfort zone however nothing ventured nothing gained!! I guess like most people here I have always expected the right person to just turn up, but have now realised that there is a little effort required on my part and I need to be more proactive. I am here to see if this platform can be the path for me to find the right person for me to complete my personal life with marriage. I would like to share life with the right companion, a better half who can be my best friend for life.
I would describe myself as an open minded, caring and sensitive individual. I'm quite an easy going, independent person. I am currently working a manager in the voluntary and community sector. I would describe myself as down to earth, open-minded, intelligent, confident, kind hearted and posses a good sense of humour. I am educated to degree level. I try to pray as often as I can and I don’t drink or smoke. I like to have a laugh, and be around friends and family, both of which are important to me. What I Am Looking For
I am looking for a nice, down to earth, independent man. Someone who wants to grow spiritually with his spouse, but can learn to respect her independence and talents. A person who knows his responsibilities as a husband, who is gentle, kind and respectful towards women and has a good balance of deen and dunya. Someone who wants to give his all to his wife and in turn receive the same back. I am looking for a man who knows what he wants from life
I would like someone who has good family values, is intelligent and we can have an educated conversation. Someone who isn't too serious and has a good sense of humour. I am looking for a cheerful personality someone who is happy and positive, with a beautiful smile.

I would prefer someone who is degree educated and has a stable job. A witty, funny, laid back individual who wants to complete half his deen, but also someone who isn't afraid to fall in love as I'm all for romance. I am looking for someone who is truly inspirational I believe if two people truly inspire one another, this brings out one’s full potential.
I believe I have an adventurous side, although I have not had many opportunities to explore this side of my personality. I’ve really been bitten by the travel bug so a travel buddy to explore exciting destinations would be nice. ! Sitting on a mountain top, barefoot in the desert, exploring historical sites or afloat the sea would be my idea of bliss!

On a more serious note I am looking for a spouse who's caring, sincere, affectionate, selfless and kind hearted. Not looking for any false hopes and promises but someone who is sincere in their words and actions Insha'Allah. Ultimately I guess I am looking for a spouse who will encourage and help me with the Deen as I shall help and encourage them too in sha'Allah. I don’t have any preference over caste or creed just someone who follows the basic tenets of Islam and is Islamically aware, god fearing and strives to want to better themselves for Allah’s cause. There also needs to be a spark of attraction....I’m a die hard romantic at heart.
